Biography

Maya Sardesai, MD, MEd, is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head & neck surgeon with double fellowship training in laryngology (throat surgery) and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.  Her practice is based primarily at Harborview Medical Center where she treats disorders of the airways of the nose and throat, including voice and swallowing issues, facial trauma, surgery for sleep apnea, and surgery for thyroid and parathyroid disease. She has research interests in clinical outcomes and medical education.
