Sheng "Shane" Zhou, MD

Sheng "Shane" Zhou, MD, is a pediatric otolaryngologist in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington. He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where he was recognized as a member of the Gold Humanism Society. He completed his otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency at USC Keck Medical Center and LA General Medical Center, followed by specialized fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital.

Dr. Zhou specializes in the comprehensive care of pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions, with particular expertise in airway disorders, cleft palate care, microtia reconstruction, pediatric rhinosinusitis, and velopharyngeal insufficiency. Dr. Zhou is actively engaged in research aimed at advancing pediatric otolaryngology care. His current research projects focus on laryngotracheal cleft repair simulation models, airway hemangioma treatment protocols, and quality improvement initiatives in post-operative pain management. Dr. Zhou is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of physicians and advancing the field through innovative research and education.
